weight problem

i need more ideas for weight red.

so far i have removed

back seats
rear side panels
carpet
head liner
rear deck cover
all items in the trunk
power stearing
a\c

im looking for less weight can any one think of any other things i can take out???

You're talking 1st gen coupe right?

- Bar under back seat
- Damper behind drivers airbag
- Weight in glovebox door
- Asphalt sound deadener under back seat (and under front floorboards I think)
- Take an air nibbler to the inner door skin
- Hood bracing
- Get a non-A/C small radiator

That's all I can think of offhand, maybe search the .org I know someone made some big list of stuff to remove and their weights.

Not sure how the 1st gens are but if you aren't concerned with a lot of saftey... how about steel bumpers under the bumper skins?
