Mobile Install business?

Hello everyone,

I am considering adding a mobile installation service to Street Style Customs offering of parts and services. We would come to you and install a variety of products. Installers would be certified and fully insured and able to install a large variety of products from car audio to performance parts. We would only install new products and would work at an hourly labor rate or a per job basis. Work would be done in evenings and on weekends. I know a lot of younger guys are into sport compacts and don't have the tools or knowledge to perform the installation of every product they purchase. This would be a more cost effective alternative than taking it to a physical shop, who 95% of the time won't install it if you did not purchase it from them. Would give you the opportunity to have quality work done and be able to still purchase the products through the internet or mail order. The work could be performed at your home, school or work. All work completed would be featured on our website to promote the service. Let me know what you guys think of this idea and if you have any thoughts or ideas to make this better please chime in. Thanks,

Thats an interesting concept. I used to know a guy in Youngstown who ran a very successful mobile audio installation company. He worked out of an astro van and would install alarms and stuff in parking lots of peoples jobs and what not.

I'm not sure how much of a market there is around here for this type of thing, but if you need any employees let me know. I know the mechanicals, and I was a stereo installer for 3 years (was MECP, but it expired).

Thanks for the reply Vinny. I was actually considering a large part of it being car audio and security w/ performance parts installation also available. It seems like these days there are enough people buying parts off the internet just for the price that still need quality installation. I will let you know if I need any help. Thanks,
