random Scirocco sidenote:

My dude had one of those once, I think it was an '80. It started overheating so we tried to put a thermostat in it. We broke the bolts taking off the water neck where we assumed a thermostat would be located, but it wasn't there. We tried to tap out the holes and use bigger bolts, but we never could get it to seal and it leaked antifreeze like crazy. Evenetually he was drunk and got so pissed at it, he drove it up and down his residential street doing burnouts trying to kill the motor. When he got frustated that it wouldn't blow, he pulled it in his driveway, whipped out his cock, and at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon pissed all over the side of the thing. A few days later he pulled his stereo out and drove it to the junkyard where I saw it sitting still years later. Come to think of it, I was with that guy when he got arrested the night he bought that car.....
