Hey i was thinking that someone on here could help me out and let me know if a second gen hood would work on a first gen at all. are what all would i have to change out.

No, it would not fit at all. The body lines are completely different. Why are you trying to fit one onto a 1st gen? If you're thinking an SRT-4 hood or something like that, there are SRT-4 style hoods out there in fiberglass and carbon fiber made to fit 1st gens...

I have seen a few pics of 2nd gen headlights on a first gen, perhaps they used the 2nd gen hood as well?
If I come across those pics again, I will share.
